Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!
hi. i submitted all my docs last month, but i still haven't received any email from nmc stating the assessment stage has started or my application is already on queue.
how soon did the nmc send you this email after you mailed your docs and submitted your application? should i be worried?
Thanks kizmwah.Looks like I am in for decision this week and loviegrace's decision should be in the next week as per my calculation on timeline.
(Round about end of 5th week or start of 6th week.)
Fingers crossed!
Keep posted with updates.
Ha! I hope Because that's all I am waiting really. This waiting game is stressing me out. But God will take us there in the end!
@kizmwah
I am base here in the UK too. Well, my sister is in uni and is about to go on her 3rd year on her nursing. I asked her about the OSCE and she said it's easy peasy for we had countless revalidas when I was a student in the Philippines. Base on her, the test examiners don't like giving complex situations and that all her past OSCE (which she all pass with high scores- 92 above) were all from the Royal Marsden book.
Hope this helps :)

You should give them a ring, that's what I did. After seeing from the tracking service that they all have my documents, I rang them for confirmation.

Yup, this really helps all right. However, I'm still pretty curious about the experiences of those who've actually done the OSCE.
@lg_loveliegrace did they still send you an email after you called them?
The representative that I spoke to confirmed it and after that I was also sent an email regarding when was my application put on queue and informed me not to contact them for 70 days while they're assessing my application
Someone i know got a response 9 weeks after nmc received all her docs so, the time really varies.
@loveliegrace - yeah! I would like to think of it that way too, since i'm now working as hca in a hospital and can actually observe nurses here old and new. But thinking about the £992 fee.. Hhhhmmm... Thanks for the info! xx
@gylyweed - you can collect them all and send them together. Different envelopes with address from diff institutions dn put everything in one envelope. Hope that makes sense.. :)
@johnnius, I have a friend from Addenbrookes who's flying to London on the 30th. He'll wait for his DL there.
Wow that's good to hear! I am still anxious though because all my 5 docs have appeared to be received already but NMC didnt email me yet that my assessment stage has started. Is it possible though that it already started? I hope though that my COS will come by next month as what my agency told me. Whew
@johnnnius to warn you though, the trusts will implement a no DL, no CoS policy in the near future so I hope you get yours soon. You know how the trends are these days. All crazy to me. You don't have to be anxious re if your assessment has started, I only received one email update from NMC and that is I can proceed to the next step of the application process. Just chill and I know your time will come ;-)
