Hi everyone,
I am a registered nurse in the Philippines and now working as an Intensive Care Unit Nurse here in Saudi Arabia for almost two years.
I am planning to move my nursing career further in Ireland. I have paid the €350 assessment fee with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) and the accounts department already provided me with a pin and advised me to wait for the delivery of my application pack.
The assessment fee was processed since April 17, 2015. I just wonder about how long it would take me to receive the application pack here in Saudi Arabia.
I hope that someone could help me. I'm so excited to process my application for Registration with NMBI.
Thanks.
hi. Do have facebook? No need to send the form back because you will send the good standing thru e-mail. Once you received the email from SCFHS containing your good standing you copy the link and send that link to any nmbi agents. And the will confirm the receipt of your mail.
I'm sorry for asking so many questions! xD May I know the official email address of the NMBI agents where I can send the link? Just to make sure they don't get to the wrong peeps.
@den_csa, my hospital is the hospital that shall not be named. Hahahaha! Just kidding! I prefer to send it to you via PM cause this is a public domain.
@everyone, how's your application going guys? Let's be #TeamNeverGiveUp
hi! I hope someone can help me regarding my nmbi pack, I sent the application form last Feb 17 and I believe NMBI received it on the 20th of February. They also charged the 350 euros in my credit card on March 1, but it is over a month now and still I haven't received the pack yet. I feel anxious because up until now I cannot begin my processing for the nmbi. I tried to email them a few times but no reply. We tried also to check ou local post office but they won't entertain us since we don't have a tracking number. Anyone who experience this also? My next option is to call them to check if they can give me a tracking number. btw, I used my home address coz of some issues in my agency but now it's settled already. Thy advised me to email nmbi to resend the pack to my agency based in ireland. thank yoou!
Hi! how did you retrieve your pack from the post office? I tried going to Lawton (main office) to take a chance if ever its still there but they won't entertain us because we dont have a tracking number. It's over a month already and still I haven't received it yet
Hello! I believe from the date that you were charged 350 euros would be the start date when they mailed you the application pack. NMBI will not provide any tracking number as they are using a regular or snail mail which really take ages before it arrive. I would still suggest you to call NMBI, they might give some advice to you. God bless! :)
From march one it will take 4-6 weeks before you receive it! I think your agency gave you the right advice of calling them to resend another pack on your respective agency in Ireland. Let us know their reply. :)hi! I hope someone can help me regarding my nmbi pack, I sent the application form last Feb 17 and I believe NMBI received it on the 20th of February. Hello everyone. Just sharing an updateMy NMBI account status shows further information required. Although all of the documents were received. From Review Pending status to Further information required. I got an email someone from the Registration Department informing me that they need an employer reference from my previous employer which I declared in my Section 1. I was employed by this company from 2015-2016 however I did not bother to ask for employers reference from them since they are not providing any stamp or written explanation as to why they aren't providing such. I was thinking that my employer reference from 2010-2012 and my current employer although less than 12 months (11 months to be exact) were already sufficient however she said there's a gap between 2012-2016 so I need to provide one. I did explain everything to her that the company isn't providing a stamp so instead she was asking for my previous company's email address so she can contact directly to the company's HR regarding the stamp issue and she is still requiring the company to submit the NMBI reference form even without the stamp. Urrrhhgg this is really frustrating and costly on my part.. but I need to do this so that my NMBI application would progress to assessment stage. Phew, but at least I wont have to wait another 2 weeks for an update since it will be sent with an attention to her name. So far, I'm on my 7th week in the application process from the moment my first document was received. :-) still not bad.
Wow they are really strict about the employment history and information. :) Thank you for this valued informationHello everyone. Hi jernieann, my friend got her NMBI pack after almost 4 months. She even requested another packet to be sent. The packet arrived in the post February but they did not deliver it on time. She just found out this month when her father visited the post office and discovered the packet was sitting there since Feb 23.Hi! how did you retrieve your pack from the post office? Your friend didn't have an agency yet to send the second packet in an agency in Ireland instead? That must have been frustrating.Hi jernieann, my friend got her NMBI pack after almost 4 months. she was actually planning to change her address to her uncle's address in Ireland however she already got the first packet..... You really need to constantly visit the post office coz they will never deliver it on time....Your friend didn't have an agency yet to send the second packet in an agency in Ireland instead? Hi. I haven't been here for a while, but might as well share my timeline
December 31, 2016 - I sent my registration form overseas
January 4, 2017 - NMBI received my registration form
January 11, 2017 - NMBI credited the 350 euros to my bank
January 16, 2017 - My application pack arrived in the Philippines
(At this time, I didn't immediately able to gather the pack due to our post office's incompetent service. I went back and forth just to get my pack)
February 16, 2017 - I officially have my application pack
(NMBI immediately sends our application pack right after they credit the fee)
For weeks I've been requesting the needed documents left and right
February 22, 2017 - Application pack received by NMBI
(Photograph, Passport/Birth/IELTS were reflected; I included Name Change Docs as it was initially in the list of reqs however when it comes to my tracker Name Change Doc isn't reflected. NMBI said they received it but they don't need it on my case)
February 27, 2017 - Verification/CCPS received by NMBI
(I also had an issue with NMBI regarding my PRC CCPS. For a week, they were adamant for a separate good standing form from PRC but then I also respone strongly but nicely that a good standing form is already included in my CCPS form. When I called the next week, they already agree that there is no need for me to send another Good Standing)
March 1, 2017 - Employer's Reference received by NMBI
(On employer's reference, I have 4 years experience in nursing from March 2012-May 2016. By the time I sent my registration form to NMBI I was in a 4 month employment in BPO and so I decided not to mention anything about it. However, NMBI keep asking what I did from May 2016 until today. Hereon, I insist that I am not employed. I keep sending daily e-mail about it that they've been asking for a nonexistent event in my life) [They received my Employers Ref on March 1 but they had only called the institution after 20 days, March 20]
March 13, 2017 - School Transcript
March 29, 2017 - Status changed to ASSESSMENT from Review Pending
Yes, they really verify to the appropriate authorities. There are delays but they really double check. All in all, after they received last the requirement, it only took 2 weeks for me to reach the Assessment phase. I am still about to wait for the DL which I hope would only take weeks rather than months.
My entire application ranges from December 2016 to March 2017; and I am now on the waiting phase for my DL.
I hope everyone is doing okay. It takes a lot of money and time but let us stay strong.
