I am a registered nurse in the Philippines and now working as an Intensive Care Unit Nurse here in Saudi Arabia for almost two years.
I am planning to move my nursing career further in Ireland. I have paid the €350 assessment fee with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) and the accounts department already provided me with a pin and advised me to wait for the delivery of my application pack.
The assessment fee was processed since April 17, 2015. I just wonder about how long it would take me to receive the application pack here in Saudi Arabia.
I hope that someone could help me. I'm so excited to process my application for Registration with NMBI.
Its the ring central app. I was able to use I for 3-4x I believe.. I forgot the other app though.. I think it was bobsled. There's a lot of apps offerring free calls, just be patient to find one with great offers! :)
Hello there! I am also from ABBA though I contacted Kate Cowhig directly. From what hospital you'll be in then? Mine is in South Tipperrary. My adaptation will be on June. I am now in the process of waiting for my contract and NMBI cert so I could apply for my visa. Goodluck to us!

Hi kelubi008, just to share, I received my application pack last january 13th, NMBI changed my status from assessment to decision pending last march 3rd then march 10th when I received my DL. I immediately scanned my DL and sent it to my agency.
It really takes a lot of patience and prayers. Regarding the application pack, I made sure that there will be no delays by providing all the documents needed.

You will receive the DL through mail? Like the application pack? Or they send it via email?
I do actually have an employer. Luckily, I have an offer from St. Vincent University Hospital, and we're just waiting for my DL. I do also have a pending offer here from a local agency under DATHS. My next step now depends on my result of my application.
Based on my former head nurse, NMBI only verifies if my background is true. Just the basic, he said; such as length of stay and performance. That's the only information he divulge.
I didn't receive my NMBI in time. The pack arrived in my post office January 16 and they didn't immediately send it. It took me a month because I thought they will deliver it. After a month of waiting (Feb 16) that's when I decided to go to the post office and seek for it.
Also, looking at other people's NMBI timeline eases my anxiety so I'm sharing mine like Buknit. Thank you :)

Hi! well here's an update: I just went to our local post office today and since I don't have a tracking number with me (ordinar, standard mail) they directed me to the registry building (second floor, qc post office) that is where the standard mails local and international are located. They instructed me to go upstairs and look for the postman designated to our area to ask if they already received it for delivery. Sadly, wala pa daw siya nareceive and just told me to leave my contact number just in case he receive it, he'll notify me through it.
Later this afternoon, because of my anxiety still unresolved, I decided to contact NMBI. **** **** ** queue *** ** bulk of calls *****. Then the staff told me to wait for 5 weeks (usually) since the fee was charged (Mine was March 1). They use standard post and can't give any tracking number.
Well, all I really need to do now is to wait, pray and relax. Everything is under control. Just keep on updating your local post office. :)

Yup, wait, update and relax for now, because once you have the application pack, you're gonna be busy sending forms to the respective authorities, school, hospital, PRC, DHL, etc. :) Prepare the wallet too for the amount of expressmails to be paid. :))
