I am a registered nurse in the Philippines and now working as an Intensive Care Unit Nurse here in Saudi Arabia for almost two years.
I am planning to move my nursing career further in Ireland. I have paid the €350 assessment fee with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) and the accounts department already provided me with a pin and advised me to wait for the delivery of my application pack.
The assessment fee was processed since April 17, 2015. I just wonder about how long it would take me to receive the application pack here in Saudi Arabia.
I hope that someone could help me. I'm so excited to process my application for Registration with NMBI.
Hello guys! I also received my application pack 2 weeks ago and I completed the self-declaration form, the CCPS for PRC and training/education form and sent them via express mail. Now my problem is my reference form from my previous hospital and CCPS & good standing certificate for Saudi council. My co-worker is not replying to my messages. It's driving me crazy as the Saudi paper is the only thing that's keeping it from being finished. I do understand that they're very busy and we haven't really messaged in a long time then all of a sudden I'm bombarding them with paperworks. They may not be welcoming with it.
Is there anyone here who's currently in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia who can help me? It would be nice if there's an office based in Riyadh that can just process the papers and all you have to do is pay and contact them to do the errands.
Hi Psychebelle can you ask them thru email/call if you could just use your previous hospital as reference since you are already here in the Philippines. This is what the other people do in the UK forum and they usually would understand. As for the CCPS and good standing, I think you only need the good standing certificate which you can get online although you still need a SAUDI credit/debit card to pay it.

Do you mean that they allow to use another previous hospital experience like the one that I had here in the Philippines before I went to Saudi Arabia? Or do they really require my latest reference from Saudi? Thanks for the response!

You can call them and tell them that you are already in the Philippines and that it is difficult for you to get hold of anyone from Saudi Arabia to let them sign for you, and that you have no relatives from there. You can ask if you can use your previous work here in the Philippines to sign for you as a reference instead. This is what they do in UK registration and usually they would understand.

I think that would be hard for me because the HR company of my previous hospital is unreliable. It also hard for me to contact them since I am already in the Philippines. How did you do yours?

hello. I believe that good standing certificate is enough and nmbi acknowledges it. So there is no more need to have the verification form signed. í ½í¸Š
Oh good! Thanks for that information! I researched on the net and they were saying that the good standing certificate needs to be included with the CCPS form that will be signed by the Saudi Council. I just want to clarify though, should I send to NMBI the blank CCPS form along with the good standing?

No need to send the form back because you will send the good standing thru e-mail. Once you received the email from SCFHS containing your good standing you copy the link and send that link to any nmbi agents. And the will confirm the receipt of your mail.

copy and paste the link found on the PDF file, then attach the PDF itself. write your name/ref number/ passport number/ bday in the subject area and in the body of the letter.

Regarding your employer, dont you have any close friends from your previous hosp who can help you? Try to send a message to anyone you know from there. You can ask directly from your head for help. Hope you sort everything out. And see you in Ireland soon. í ½í¸Š
Ah most of my colleagues already resigned from the hospital in Saudi. There are only two of my original colleagues left and they are planning to exit too. Probably they are busy given that they are understaffed. I'll see what I can do this week. Fighting! Good night from this side of the world. :)
