Hi everyone! I'm currently in the process of applying to NJCU's accelerated nursing program. Any current students or alumni have advice?
Anyone else out there applying to NJCU? Or any other accelerated programs in the NY/NJ area?
what I dont get is they told me Nursing CAS makes the decisions, i felt that was so impersonal. If they say they take a holistic a approach to selecting applicants how do you think they can do that with a third party selecting? Makes me so much more nervous.
Also I was told to check my email..but the email they sent today mentions to check Nursing CAS:unsure:
I'm pretty sure the admissions decision board is through NJCU, but they are able to indicate if the applicant is accepted or rejected through NursingCAS, so the email notification actually comes through NursingCAS. I also think the applicant pool will be more competitive; the program already has the instructors in place, so I don't think the accepted class can be larger than 60. I am so nervous! Hopefully we are getting down to decision time. Good luck to everyone!!
Does anyone know how much the entire program will cost?
I saw that online it said that for the Accelerated nursing program it costs $8,304.35 per semester.
How much does it cost for the entire 12 month program?
How many semesters is the program? If it's 3 then it should cost around 24,000.

I think they take 60 for JC and 30 for wall...maybe the large amount of applicants means they'll take more? í ½í¸¬
