Hello everyone !
I’m so excited that I’ve found this program ! I live in California where all nursing schools are impacted, to find a program like this is a miracle . I am finishing up the enrollment process now . I’ve notice that there are not many posts on the site for the school . Has anyone went to the program or planning to go ?

How do you like this school?? I’m thinking of enrolling here this yr. any advice and thoughts? Thanks
@sgallegos we sure can! A few of us are from California also! Looking forward to meeting you & everyone else! Maybe we’ll start a facebook page soon!
@sgallegos I’m also from Sacramento and looking to start in January. Per all the information I’ve seen, we are able to sit for the NCLEX in CA. This was the response from the advisor I’ve been working with. “California State Board of Nursing does not approve out of state schools to teach in their state. California will, however, allow their residents who complete a qualifying Nursing program in another state to become licensed in their state. Nightingale College’s BSN program DOES meet the educational requirements for licensure. Learners are still subject to other criteria in order to qualify to apply to sit for the NCLEX such as criminal background and other factors outside of Nightingale’s control.”

I just passed my fundamentals HESI on Monday so I am now just wrapping up my second semester of the nursing classes. Feel free to ask any questions.
Hi! How is the program going so far? Do they accept online classes through portage or straight-line?
I created a group on facebook for the January start cohort.. feel free to join if you’re starting this coming Spring..

This is exactly my thoughts about the school but honestly after my first semester I realized it's not terrible. There are definitely some things I don't like and things they need to work on but pretty much you get what you put in and there is absolutely no hand holding. As far as your question I don't personally know anyone but a few students did some research and you just need Microbiology and a communication class. But those are required anyway.
