Wouldn't it be great to have the results as soon as the test ended. When you answer your last question the screen would go blank while it talleys your score and either says "PASS" or "FAIL".

This would eliminate all the stress of waiting of results.

Just a thought before my test in two days:clown:

That would be trouble at the testing site....

What would happen if someone passed the test?

I would screammmmmmm...LOL

What If I fail????

You don't want to know what happens next.....LOL.

At least an email on the same day confirming pass or fail would be nice!!!

How about a text message to your cellphone 15 minutes after the test? Or, better still? When you get to the lobby, there is a special red "bat phone" that you dial to get your results...of course, it would be in a sound proof room!!! In case someone screamed!

Oy. Two days. Not even! Tonight, Tomorrow...and then, Tuesday morning!

I hope I don't succumb to my anxiety by then.

That would have been wonderful. The wait for me was just torture. TORTURE.

I actually had a friend who asked the Pearson people why they can't do this - I guess it has something to do with them being an independent testing center, they don't want to get mixed up in the drama, etc....

I think a nice email awaiting you when you got home would be nice.....It just needs 1 line...PASS or FAIL.

What stinks for me is that my results are emailed to the SBON the same day I take the test but I still have to wait to find out the results because my state can take up to 4 business days to post on the internet.....So I either pay $$$$ to find out or wait the torture for the state to post it. Either way NOT FUN.

safety reason. sad as it may sound alotta folks dont take failing well and many may do harm to themselves or the pearson testing center.

A print out as you are leaving would also be fine. The print out could higlight you strong areas and show wher eyou need improvement.

I like this one. They could also implement a little trap door that would chute you to your vehicle in case of failure, so that you don't have to face any of your classmates on the way out.

My 3 days of waiting for the results to post was sheer torture- but several nurses reminded me that the wait used to be months- so I should not whine at all. Can you imagine MONTHS of waiting?

I took my NCLEX-PN yesterday. Our results, here in Ohio, show up on the BON website the next day. I am going CRAZY, checking, checking, checking!

I took the NCLEX PN yesterday too! And even though, in Florida, it takes two full days...I have been checking it every hour on the hour! You know what's lousy? It says "exam delivered"...ACK!!!! Do I need to know that they HAVE it and just haven't told me anything!!!! :(

oy. im freaking out.
