  1. Check my original Post....for additional site...
  2. Just found this site.....this might help you prepare for your NCLEX. http://www.studyguidezone.com/pdfs/nclexrnteststudyguide.pdf
  3. Yes, you can bring snacks & drinks but not in the testing area. Once you enter Pearson view center,,,they will check your ID(state ID or Driver license or passport) & your NCLEX ATT. You will be finger printed ( just index finger)...and a photo session ( so put on some make up....LOL You will be given a locker, its usually located at the reception room. You will be asked to empty your pockets ( coins, wallets, watch, jewelries). You will store all these items and your snacks in your locker. All you can bring in the testing area besides the clothes you're wearing and your shoes, is your ID or passport and your locker key. I suggest you drink water, go to the restroom before reporting to the testing area. Upon entering the testing area...you will again present you ID and you will be fingerprinted again (this happens everytime you leave and re enter the testing area for your breaks).. They will provide you with a plastic writing pad, a pen and and earplugs( upon request... i suggest you take the earplugs too). You can take breaks as often as you like....just raise your hands. Remember, Your Testing time does not stop when you take your break....so make it quick. GLTY

  7. Don't be scared.April is considered a high season for travel so, Prepare early...Book a flight(with hotel accommodation) well in advance with a reputable travel agency. Arrive at least 2 days in advance to familiarize yourself of the location of the testing center from your hotel.
  8. That would be trouble at the testing site.... What would happen if someone passed the test? I would screammmmmmm...LOL What If I fail???? You don't want to know what happens next.....LOL. At least an email on the same day confirming pass or fail would be nice!!!

  12. I have a son in APU in Azusa,Ca. He is a full time student. He is now attending 1st sem of the 3 years BSN Accelerated program. His GPA is 3.7 .and only 40 students were admitted/selected to the APU BSN Program and it's based on grades. Attend school first and find out if you can work and study at same time. But if you don't really need to work , by all means, BE A FULL TIME STUDENT. The TUITION FEE for the Accelerated Program runs at about $12,000 per semester.
  13. Funny Question. I asked myself that several years ago....I just graduated with a BSN degree this year 2006....I'm a 43 years old Chemist. Just Do IT!!!!! you'll be surprise to see students older than you.

I Just graduated this year with a BSN degree...I'm a 2nd courser. I use to work as a Chemist for a biotech company in Los Angeles which manufactures cancer drugs. I just mailed my application for RN Licensing( EXamination) today. When I pass the RN exam., I like to work as an Oncology Nurse...but don't know where to start. Anyone knows a good Hospital in Southern California with a busy Oncology Unit???? and willing to train new RN?. Any additional training you could suggest to prepare me to work in an Oncology Unit??? Thanks...
  15. I am also a US citizen studying Nursing in Manila....a second courser. I will be graduating in Nursing School this March 2006 and planning on taking NCLEX when I return to US. California NCLEX requires a written explanation if you don't hold a Local (phil) license in the country you graduated. Do you hold a Phil. RN license when you took NCLEX EXAM? What reason did you gave them for not having a Phil license. ? You may email me [email protected]
