It's a little early but I figured I would start this thread as we all begin to get our applications in!

Hey guys I have a question regarding submitting transcripts through thecommon app

it gives me a PDF to download and fill out and sign..but how do I actually link my transcripts to the common app? And who do I have to give that downloaded paper to the registrar office at the college?

When I applied I saved my unofficial transcripts as a pdf file and then uploaded it on the common app .. I don’t remember downloading anything, but I also applied back in October

Hey guys!

Applied for the ABSN program back in February and am anxiously waiting like everyone else on the thread.

I received an e-mail saying my application was incomplete because my high school transcript was not sent over? I graduated high school in 2014 and am a second-degree applicant (similar to everyone else). Did anyone else receive an e-mail like that?

Thanks and good luck!

I would call them and ask because I graduated high school in 2015 and it says my high school transcript is waived.

Hey, Mine said it was waived and then I got an email stating my application was incomplete because they needed my final HS transcript and I graduated in 2013. I honestly just had my HS email it to them. I rather them have it and decide not to use it then one thing saying its waived and another email saying I need it.

Thanks for the responses. I’ve tried reaching out a few times (via email and phone) but have not been able to connect with the individual who requested my transcript. I will just have my high school send it out just to be safe.

My portal also says it’s waived but I just don’t want there to be anything holding my application back.

Has anyone thought about living on campus if they get into the program?

I have... do they offer dorming to accelerated nursing students?

I plan to dorm! I looked at the various residence options they offer and I’m pretty sure ABSN students are eligible to dorm.

Hey guys!

Most of us applied more than a month or so ago now and the anxiousness is slowly starting to kick in for sure. I have read in previous threads that we should be hearing back during the first two weeks or so of April. Can anyone else confirm this?

Yes! I called last week and they said we should starting hearing back first week of April

I really hope we start hearing back that first week of April! I applied at the end of January and am definitely getting anxious to know. Just wanna have a plan in place and know what I’ll be doing next year!

Agreed - I hope that we all hear back in April! I went to an info session and admissions said that they send out acceptance emails on a rolling basis starting in April through June. They sort and review candidates in order of when your whole application was "complete" (transcripts, LOR and all that recieved) and then alphabetically. They said that applying by the "priority" deadline helps but doesn't guarantee that you'll hear back first if your application was missing any documents.
