I am starting in September I figured it would be nice to start a thread where all of us new students could come and and share our experiences/help eachother out as we are on our way to be nurses :)
I get to schedule classes next month, take the NET, update immunizations and what not. So excited, it seems like I still have a lot of time to wait (a whole summer break w/ NO CLASSES :smiley_aa ), but I'm sure it'll go by too fast so I better not procrastinate! I feel like I'm FINALLY going to enter into my dreamy fast-paced, stressed out & balding:yldhdbng: nursing school experience! YAY! :anpom:
That is so crazy I cant believe I wrote that a few months ago and now I start school the day after tomorrow! AHHHH! So far I have 17 books and 21 credit hours.. hows everyone else fairing?
Started on August 20th....17 credits! We are starting with fundamentals a 264 page syllabus, pharmacology 164 syllabus and nuitrition. Spent the whole weekend studying as we needed to read 100 pages in fundamentals, 50 pages in pharmacology and 30 pages in nutrition. I am so over whelmed, but know that this will all pay off in the end.
