I am starting in September I figured it would be nice to start a thread where all of us new students could come and and share our experiences/help eachother out as we are on our way to be nurses :)
I start Sept 23 @ Lincoln Tech in Paramus New Jersey. I don't what to expect. I'm scared and excited at the same time. I'll be going full time 8:45-3:45 M-F for a year. I'll be there with my sister. She has a medical education backround so she'll be fine. But me who hate science and learning medical terminology is gonna have a problem.
I'm gonna keep a mini journal as I go to let you guys know how it's going.
GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE. WE'RE GONNA MAKE SOME GREAT LPN AND HOPEFULLY EVEN BETTER RN'S
Well today was my first day, just a lot of time on administration stuff, and getting our books and my god there was A LOT of books I could barely carry them! My school is from 8-2:30 theory and I have 2 classes per day. Today we got the syllabus, I don't have too much homework today so my focus is just finishing that and getting organized and getting everything in order. I can tell already that it's going to be a lot of work like everyone has been saying, but like they say something worth having is not easy so I'm going to work my hardest and get through this program.
