I really hope I don't have to relocate because my husband's job and his family are here in CA. I've been playing with the idea of CO, MO, and SC because I have family in those states. Here's hoping I find something soon!

How did your whole experience go? Did you endorse to TX before you applied or after?

Graduated in Dec '13, NCLEX Jan '14, applied to jobs in undersaturated areas and was hired in Feb '14, moved and started working March 10th.

Applied for 2 jobs (same hospital), interviewed, started March 1 on a cardiac progressive care unit.

This is the hospital I precepted at, however, and had done a majority of my clinicals at so I had references here as well as supervisor experience at an assisted living facility..

Job offer in May 2014, no previous experience

Applied to about 150 openings within a 30ish min circle, but once you set up profile the apps go pretty quick for the same system, I applied more to one specific one, and one hospital especially too. Only hospitals, no LTC or SNF

Hired at hospital in oncology unit in March of 2014 before I even graduated.

I live in Kansas City. A lot of my classmates found jobs, but not all. Most of them had to take something out of the hospital environment. I was lucky and had worked as a CNA on my unit for 6 months.

I was offered 4 jobs (in 3 different hospitals) prior to graduation :)

I am in the Kansas City area. Almost all of my classmates have jobs in the hospital environment

Graduated Dec 2013 with my BSN. Passed my NCLEX in January & licensed in GA..didn't apply for jobs bc I found out not long after my husband was getting stationed in FL in a couple months. Moved to FL in March, got my FL licensed in April, applied to about...20+ jobs, just landed my first job a week ago & start July 7th!

Hi msnorth, I was wondering what part of Florida you moved to. I as well am new to Florida and I am currently looking for a job, but no luck.
