Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

What date did you exactly sent your docs and when did you receive their offer? Did you always send them eMail or make some calls to make some follow up?
I hope I'm not yet in trouble now.

Thanks sweetie. I sent mine two days after you sent yours and received it this Tuesday. I don't think you're in trouble. Your assessing officer might just be taking his or her time checking your papers. Think positive mate! Good luck and I hope to hear good news from you soon!

Good day everyone. I have a question for those who have been to or is applying to La Trobe University. Does LTU have an interview? I heard that they didn't do interviews; that once they have assessed and approved your application they will already give you an offer letter.

Thanks for your reply Shaneyney. I really am in trouble now. I sent an eMail to the Admissions coordinator of LTU Int'l and with the reply that he/she hasn't received any documents from me. It was noted in the eMail that their Jan2013 intake is filling up fast. I have to wait until Monday to make some calls to them while I will be having sleepless nights over the weekend thinking of the info that I got.

Diones, did they sent you a confirmation eMail that they have successfully received your docs and is currently being assessed already?

I took the IELTS exam and got a score of 6.5 in writing.... I am now currently waiting for my visa. Is this score going to affect my school application and application for the 457 visa in the future?
Hi Guys! Anyone here for the august intake of ACFE????
I just received from ACFE an offer letter for their august intake this morning since there was an available slot that was vacant. Now my problem is if I could make it on time to get my visa before my intake will start. Anyone here on the same boat? Pls. Help...
