Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

I think it would be safe if we would still wait for the updated list. Probably next week? ETEA is a reputable institution, they are known all over Australia, I don't think they would risk their reputation just like that. :)@AILA 61thank you aila thats a relief... coz i dont want to take the long path of studying again for 2 or 1.5 years...
I already paid the tuition fee at ETEA, I am really worried about my case.. ETEA's website is no longer accessible. I have called ANMAC about the accreditation status of ETEA, and they said if it is not on the list, its not accredited. I called up ETEA, and they said they are accredited and it will be updated soon on the website. I am really confused. what if it is not accredited anymore? How can I take back the tuition fee that I paid?... please help...

Apparently, ETEA is saying that they are still accredited. I'm still confused though. I also heard that a consultancy here in Phils is not processing their nurses' applications for ETEA because accreditation is still not finalized.thanks AILA61, i have read that if the course ceased or ETEA can not offer the course anymore, It will be refunded in full payment.. But, I am still hoping that ETEA will be accredited because my LOE will expire next year, and all intakes are already full this year..
For those who's going to have their BP this july and august, what did ETEA tell you about their accreditation? Thanks!
helo i'm new here. i passed my app last feb 2012 at ahpra-wa and recently sent them the additional requirements last may. As i have read some posts here, there were some who already received their loe. Furthermore, there is a change of rules starting july 1, and im quite afraid of my application because its already on the 2nd wk of july. does anyone here experienced a rejection of their application and reapplied? thanks
