Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.

Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

Would it be necessary to bring your own scrub suits for the clinical placement part of the bridging program? I will be studying at College of Nursing. Thanks!
hi there.. Are you for the july intake as well? you don't need to bring the scrubs. the uniform for placement will be white polo shirt black trousers and black shoes.. i'm joining con's july intake too.. :)

ok who is for perth, ihna?? :) pls pm me so i can communicate with you so far there are 3 people in our group and plus another one if ever she don't get her visa tomorrow for july intake in ihna perth but she will go for july if visa comes tomorrow.

Hi, still waiting for the visa. Yes, blue cross health insurance. Still a long way to go with the ecourse... by the way, have you got a place where to stay in melbourne?

Am I missing something? Etea is not on approved program's of bridging courses!

...and cannot get the website up all day, just states "cannot find server"

I am supposed to be bound for september intake in ETEA or October intake. depends upon when the baby will come out. ETEA requested for a 6 weeeks post baby delivery medical clearance for be able for me to take the COURSE.

I've read in the post that they no longer in the list. So I went and checked it by myself in the website and it is indeed true that ETEA is not in the list.

I rang my APHRA case officer and asked about this matter. The lady told me that if it is not in the list it is not an approved program of study.

I asked about @ shaneneos case and all she said is have to contact

have you contacted etea yet? what did they tell you about their accreditation?

as for myself i haven't paid etea yet for my intake..

miss hanna any comments about this issue of eteas accreditation?

etea is my only hope for this years intake coz my letter will aphra letter will expire this jan 5, 2013.
