New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand Part 2

Published

Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.

Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

@marklouiemarco

thanks for that mate..

I just seen just now in AHPRAs web site about validity of some BP provider.

What happens to IHNA, ETEA, and ACFE they are deemed valid only until 2011 and they are still keep accepting some applications??

Is it still safe to enroll for the said BP providers?

i sent it through their emailaddress and they just sent back a return receipt thru email that they got mine and that is on the waiting list.

So when you sent ur application, it took them 2 weeks to reply. When did you send it and for which intake are you? When you are on the waiting list what does it mean?

Did you pay using cc?

So why did your friend receive a snail mail??

that's what i've been raising days ago. baesa got a reply from ANMC that for as long as the accreditation for these schools are on-going, they highly advise not to enrol in any of their courses.

cheska, grasyosa, ilove8308, any take on this? i don't want to spoil things for you guys, just concerned..

any one here knows BP provider that does not require 1-2 years clinical experience?

I already had a eligbility letter from AHPRA and will be expired jan 2013.

Im in desperate need of a BP provider that does not require clinical experience.

I tried IHNA.. jujuju DECLINE application due to lack/nil experience.:scrying::scrying::scrying:

tried Deakin they just started this monday and next intake will be MAY 2013.. :scrying::scrying::scrying:

any body here who can help me and suggest a BP provider?????

ETEA cost 16 000 AUD way to much... cant afford that amount...

ACFE still waiting for my application..:banghead:

download the list of school providers in AHPRA and check who you haven't applied to yet.

i emailed ahpra and even ihna to ask how will this transition affect ihna and i'm still waiting for their rep.

in the ahpra list of programs, it even states there that IHNA's approval is valid until septmber 2011 and transition is come this july. now, what i really want to know if there are graduates from the past from september last year from ihna who successfully got their license. coz if they did, then perhaps, the accreditation doesn't affect our registration with ahpra.

if you can help me guys call ahpra to verify this so we can all have peace of mind. yesterday when i called, the one who is in charge of this wasn't around yet, so i didn't get a decent reply.

at what stage are you at now, ilove83080 with regard to your ihna app?

Anyone bound for ETEA October 2012 intake?i need companion..thanks
