Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

Guys once AHPRA has sent your LOE through the regular mail, usually how many days will it take before you receive it here in the Philippines? I've been waitig for a week now
try ringing AHPRA and ask if a soft copy can be mailed to you. i got mine both soft and hard copies. the hard copy arrived after a week. but im not sure if all states provide a soft copy.
with regard to your CON, ring them as well. their waiting list is sssoooooo long for the september intake. and they don't reply anymore to mails. if you really wish to get a seat in CON, they need your AHPRA first and then you can send them your compiled requirements, which they require and that usually consist of AHPRA, passport, immunisation (with the NSW forms attached and the shots/serology), nbi, BLS.
you might as well would want to consider other schools moreso if you really want to leave the soonest. i know you have some relatives in sydney, but CON is just hard to penetrate lately. try ihna, aaon, as well. goodluck!

Thank you for that. Did you send your application to NSW too? I emailed my case officer today about that, hoping she will provide me a soft copy. I called CON today as well but they told me that they cannot provide me details re the slots for the september intake. Which intake do you belong to?

Also, what's BLS? Basic Life Support? I'm having a hard time getting hold of these officers. Sigh.
