Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

Anyone there that got the same problem with me... I am currently on a student visa.. The problem is I couldn't enroll to hospital to do the BP because they are not CRICOS registered... What can I do?? Do you have any suggestion? do I need to change my visa?
P.S.
Can you please share some experiences about the school/ hosp. that's offering BP in Victoria..
Many Thanks...
Ahby! we have the same prob by the way, i already got my eligibility from AHPRA. Thank God..after almost 4 months :) but my problem is, im on student visa -diploma course. BP is a non-award sector so i'm having a problem of changing visa
i have asked DIAC before and they ssaid i need to change visa 575
pm me Ahby..thanks
@glitzdelightno biggie. :)
the medical exam which the other members are talking about is a requirement when you apply for a visa. . . that's the next step to take after you are already enrolled in a BP provider institution/ university. . .
Ive originally sent my application to NBV but was asked to reapply to AHPRA... I sent them my application plus the additional requirements (like CV) on the second week of August. It's a total of 3 months of waiting now and counting. . . .
and thanks! I hope I'll receive a positive response soon. and Good luck with ur application! :)
Thank you :)
Ive seen your post lately that you already received your eligibility letter! :yeah:That was "soon" hahaha :))
Hello again!I went to PRC and inquire about the certificate of good standing. They told me that I need to give them the form then they will fill it up then send it to Australia. Now I am confused. I cant find that form. Anybody?
There is no form because you're not requesting a verification of license. The certificate of good standing document comes directly from them. You'll need to provide them just the address you wish them to be mailed and fill -up a form requiring your name, license no. ,etc.

I went to PRC (Manila) yesterday and I was given an Action Form for Certification. I originally asked for "action form for state board verification", and thats what the guy at the information desk gave me. I filled out the form and checked the box with "State Board". I asked a personnel and she said that it was for the certificate of good standing. So i guess thats the correct way for requesting for a certificate of good standing.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm from the same city as you are but I didn't have any problems with PRC. I just requested a Certificate of Good Standing and paid for it. I think they know that already :)
