Yup, MMR comes in one shot. As for Tetanus, it is included in the Dtap as it pertains to Diphtheria tetanus and acellular pertussis. But technically, it really depends on the what the school requires. However, the most common required vaccines as what I know includes MMR, Dtap and Hep B.

hey guys! just a question. i haven't done my MMR shots yet coz i'm thinking if our baby book records will suffice? if yes, can we just have a medical certificate stating when these shots were given when were babies? do they really ask for the baby book record per se when we reach AUS?

Hello! I had been following this thread for some time now and it was so informative..thanks for posting everyone...

My application was received by AHPRA last Nov 2011 and I received a letter last Feb 27, 2012 saying that it's already in the final assessment. I was wondering if anybody knows how long does the final assessment take, because a friend told me it will take at least 6 weeks. Also, is there's anybody here that has the same timeline as me? Just curious to know who my "batch mates" are? :specs:

Hello. Has anyone had their visa approved without submitting an NBI clearance to the embassy? It's one of my problems right now coz I only got a police clearance.

Ychelle Anne..You need not come back to the Philippines anymore just apply to ahpra for assessment wait for your eligibility and apply for BP..While waiting for your eligibility apply for short courses like cert.in aged care 111 so you get a certificate and can earn higher pay..Then once your eligibility comes out enroll for BP and get your RN license.

I'm sorry. but based on experience, you dont get higher pay as RN even though you have cert in aged care. the only difference in RN pay is whether you have extensive previous work experience as RN or that you are going to be hired to work in a hospital or nursing home. hospitals pay more than nursing homes especially for new grads like us.

Hello Guyz, does anybody here passed their application to AHPRA WA in the month of September 2011? Did you already receive your Eligibility Letter? Hope someone here can answer this question. Thanks in advance :)

Aila, lady-deeRN, Ishtin, Angelslove, Irin:Here's my case officer's reply today:I refer to your application for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) received on 1 November 2011.*We seem to be in receipt of all the documentary requirements to complete the assessment of your application form.*Your application has now been escalated for final approval. Please note, as every application is assessed on its own merits, a time frame cannot be guaranteed.*Please await for notification regarding the outcome of your assessment.***Let's keep on praying that we get our LOe's soon!!*** ^_^

I also got this letter last Feb 15.. but my application is in AHPRA-NSW and it was received last Nov.7... I gues, we sort of have the same timeline.. DO you have a school for bp, in mind already?

I have a friend who had her application received last oct 2011 in AHPRA NSW, but she still hasn't received her eligibility letter, though she received the final assessment letter 1st week of Feb 2012...
