New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand Part 2

Published

Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.

Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

Hi guys! hi i hope all is well with you. Who are for IHNA april 2 melbourne intake?

and question- are you having problem with your 456 VISA applic? because i lodged mine Dec 22 last year and never got a response until i went there personally for my medical request last jan 31. I had a problem in my medicals that's why they only forwarded it last Feb 18. I have not received any reply from my case officer with all the emails i sent. What seems to be the problem in my applic? Help!

to my fellow IHNA NED and JAY! hello :)

--- Hi.! How did you pay for the enrollment fee and e-learning.? did you wait first for the invoice number to be sent to you.? Thanks.!

It seems like most of you are on 456 visa.. Is there anyone here who have taken or is applying for a student visa? I'm kinda anxious right now.. My course will commence on 3rd of April and I haven't lodged my student visa application yet because I'm still waiting for my confirmation of enrollment in UniSA.. Or anyone here scheduled on April with UniSA? ..... :)

You can already apply for a student visa with just your offer letter. You better do it sooner than later because medicals take time, and you only have roughly a month, they typically recommend at least 8 weeks for a student's visa.

I suggest you compile all your needed documents and apply asap. No need to wait for eCoe.

Rchanp, Reese is for April 2 intake...

--- Did you wait first for your invoice number before you paid your enrollment fee and e-learning.? what is the method of payment you used.? Thanks.. can you pm me your phone number so I can reach you anytime..? Thanks.! :)

hello guys. Im for the IHNA May Melbourne intake. How long were your visa 456 processed?

hello fellow IHNAers..

rchanp! hello! can we email? send me a private message! :)

hi JCpenados. I suggest you apply for your 456 now. i lodged my applic Dec 22 thru VIA and i got the ackno receipt January 7. After that, No emails were sent and i had to follow up personally for my Medical Request. i was delayed because of my Urinalysis, but after a week, my med clearance was forwarded by ehealth last Feb 18. now i am still waiting for my visa. Originally, i was scheduled for Feb intake but because of this i wa moved to the next available intake. I was very grateful that they accomodate me for Apr 2 since they are filling in slots for July already. Patience is truly a virtue! :) Good luck!

@therooftop
