Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

-- Hi.! Thank you for your insight.! :) are you having your BP with IHNA.? or have had your BP with them.? how about the vaccines.? Is it okay if I start having my vaccines as soon as now, even though my offer letter has not yet been released.? thank you :) God bless.!
Hi everyone,i want to know if those who are processing BP req now, did AHPRA send you a HARD COPY of the approval letter and how long did it take for you guys to receive it?
It really depends whether you will receive the hard copy of it or they just attach it in an e-mail. In my case, they gave it via snail mail, but one friend of mine have it through e-mail attachment. I just waited for less than a month for it. I processed it in AHPRA WA.
Hi guys! hi i hope all is well with you. Who are for IHNA april 2 melbourne intake?
and question- are you having problem with your 456 VISA applic? because i lodged mine Dec 22 last year and never got a response until i went there personally for my medical request last jan 31. I had a problem in my medicals that's why they only forwarded it last Feb 18. I have not received any reply from my case officer with all the emails i sent. What seems to be the problem in my applic? Help!

Hi Jay,i did receive mine via Email attachment. Do they need a hard copy when applying for BP?or lets say will they ask for it if you go to Australia?
No worries rchanp. I am scheduled for June 4 intake in IHNA Perth and still processing my business visa 456. I suggest wait for you confirmation of Admission (they will release this after you pay the enrollment fee) since they will give you Vaccination Declaration (this is like a checklist on what vaccines you already had and they will just ask for a certification of it or vaccines that you need to comply) but if you re rush'n with time for your intake then just p.m me so I can send you the copy of vaccination declaration so you have Idea on what vaccines you need to comply. hope this helps. Godbless!
