Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

certified true copies of DETAILED SCHOOL DOCUMENTS. DETAILED COURSE DESCRIPTION OF NURSING ANG NON NURSING SUBJECTS :-) Attached with your application form
Hey but I went through all the application details and found nowhere that a detailed course description is also needed to be attached with the application:no: (However, I was anticipating something like this).By the way my application reached AHPRA yesterday, and I am very worried whether they will turn down my application just because I havent provided them a break-down of my curriculum:uhoh21:.
Is it 100% sure that it has to be submitted too?
I already have a description of my curriculum which I had issued from my university when I graduated in 2007. Can I send that to AHPRA or do I need to issue a fresh one?
Is it the graduating university or the applicant who should post this document?
Please enlighten me with your knowledge. I do not want my application process to get delayed or rejected due to this single document.
Thanks in advance

ow often do you send them emails? is that every week?
Once I sent my application thru courier (jan.20), I inquired AHPRA after 3 days if they got it, and they just said that if I placed my email address on the application form, they will notify me. After 2 days, and that was January 25, I got an email that they have received my documents and that it's already being assessed. By January 30, my case officer told me that I lack the certificate of good standing and I told her that I've already arranged with PRC to send it and it might take a while since they're sending it via regular mail. By February 6, I got the Eligibility Letter :) It was pretty fast.
"The location of placements depends on availability and may be in Tasmania, South Australia and of course Victoria. It is important that students are prepared financially for possible additional travel and accommodation costs in the event their clinical placements are interstate." I also want to try getting in ACFE for their soonest possible intake but the application fee hurts my pocket, especially when i checked the australian dollar rate..woah..
Their application fee is quite expensive, higher than other facilities. A friend of mine called ACFE yesterday and they said that there's a june 20 and august 20 intake. I'm planning on taking the june 20, God-willing I would be accepted in their program :)

if you submitted your application to wa they will tell you in their first email that you need to submit a course description. this should include the number of units and lecture hours for both minor and major subjects. subjects in tagalog must have an english translation also. i think its much safer if your going to be the one who will submit this so that when they see your name as the sender they can just add this document to your file.Hey but I went through all the application details and found nowhere that a detailed course description is also needed to be attached with the application:no: (However, I was anticipating something like this).By the way my application reached AHPRA yesterday, and I am very worried whether they will turn down my application just because I havent provided them a break-down of my curriculum:uhoh21:.
