  1. Hi, You might want to visit the website of AHPRA for more details or if you're that patient enough, which you will also need to do once submitted your documents, reading previous discussions will be a great help as well, in fact I did the same thing when I was still at lost on what to do plus the AHPRA website of course. When I started reading from page 1, I think last page back then was still at 600.. It's not yet too late to start reading now. You'll be amazed on the important points, reminders, and tips that you're gonna get as you read. Knowledge is power! Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency - Overseas PractitionersAustralian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency - Standard Format for Curriculum VitaeNursing and Midwifery Board of Australia - Registration Standards 10:11 am by dreamer_gwen After taking IELTS , what are the documents that will be send to APHRA ?
  2. I can't remember exactly but a week or two maybe.Ask them if it can be expedite but you need to add additional fee for that. I send mine to WA. Still waiting for my LOE, just pass my last requirement last week of June. But those who were able to submit documents last May they already have their LOE last May. Hoping to receive mine either last week of July or 1st week of August.
  3. hi! in my case, after getting the said document from prc i bought a mail envelope with prc seal and placed my certificate of good standing there. i also asked the same question and was advised to proceed directly to the booth of courier inside the prc compound. your document will be delivered in 2-3 days time plus you can even track your package on-line. jul 6 by chelseaxyrene hi marklouiemarco. i understand. but according to the man i spoke with, i should come back for the certificate of good standing this july 9 and that i will be the one to mail it to ahpra not them
  4. in my case i went directly to idp office and requested for a copy to be sent to ahpra.
  5. hi official02 ,in my opinion ahpra will be issuing a statement if there will be such kind of changes. as to the said rumor, i also heard of the same grapevine when i was about to take my ielts around june last year (that it is going to take effect by september last year)> i haven't heard any confirmation from ahpra regarding this matter so i think the 7.0 will still apply. to make sure that indeed there is no truth in the said rumor, better make an inquiry about it with ahpra, which you can do via email.
  6. I never thought that getting an ET's vital signs would be this challenging.
  7. Hi Aila61 I've already replied to your PM :)
  8. @aila61 Hello! I sent my application to AHPRA WA last week of October they received it Nov 1st 2011.
  9. just got an email from wa last week which read.. "[color=#454545]your application has now been escalated for final approval. please note, as every application is assessed on its own merits, a time frame cannot be guaranteed.[color=#454545]please await for notification regarding the outcome of your assessment." hoping to receive a good news this late first quarter or if not maybe this april? patience..patience... :-)
  10. Hi bettyboop09, I understand where you're coming from. I was also overwhelmed with the number of posts under this thread when I first joined this forum, but I can assure you that almost all if not all of the information that you needed about application is already posted here. Just for the record, I was able to catch up by reading the thread starting from page 1 of Part 2. But of course I didn't finish it all at once since I don't have the luxury of time to do that. :) The main reason this thread was created was to guide all of us who are in search of answers to questions we don't normally get in some websites because what we do here is to share our experiences so that other people in the same situation will also hasten their learning curve or don't have to go through the same situation. Perseverance is a must and sometimes you really just have to be a little more patient reading this thread.:)
  11. What's his secret? He pull it off so effortlessly....
  12. "Look at me and you won't note any difference. All it takes to be a nurse is just a pair of scrubs and a piece of good steth"
  13. Is it true that after the 3 months BP, there are no exams/tests that would be given?------different schools have different schemes of evaluating their students if there are no examinations or any evaluation tool to be used to students then how will they know that you are fit to pass the training? They said that because we are in 456 visa when we enter in Aus, we need to exit and go back to philippines for 2 weeks and then return back to Australia after, cause it only takes 2 weeks to apply for a nursing job in australia? is this true?---------------------------- You need to ask them for any evidence of this particular claim. What they actually told you was" 2 weeks to apply for a nursing job" and not "get a job".. they are different things....
