Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

I have a multiple 456 visa since I will start my Bp on march 5, and I have employment which will start august. What type of visa should I apply for once my 3 months is finished? I don't want to fly back to my home country anymore because it's expensive. Am I eligible for the bridging visa? My 457 visa will start on august once I commence work.
I just browse the website on International Federation of Translators but i did not find any translator agency here in Saudi Arabia on the list. I says in AHPRA website if the translation is made outside australia it shoud be accredited by AFT... do i have to consult the AU consulate about this? for those who had their documents translated already..please help?

where are you going to take your BP? If that's the case maybe once you bp is about to finish you may apply for a tourist visa to be extended. Btw, you said you already have a waiting job for you that will start on august? How did you apply without having an australian license? Maybe you could share that to us! :)

Just this january at WA...I have read here that they are still processing those who are for final approval last september. Am i right? So i have to wait 4 more months? Is your application for final approval too?

Who knows the contact number for Nationwide Health Systems Cebu Inc? The number posted on the immi website doesn't work I think. I've been trying to call them for the medical exam and all I get is number unreachable.
they only sent one e-mail saying that they got my papers and will notify me if i still lack some documents. thats good kringkring...your eligibility letter means its on its final stages, just wait for a few more days i guess :) may i ask when did you submit your papers?
i just submitted it to WA this january.. i received 3 emails from them, the last one states that its for final approval..
