Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.

Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

Hello! how is everyone in here? its been a long time since my last log in and lurk... hope everyone is doing well and keepng their hopes high to our application.. I recently have someone to assess my papers... and I think the lady is good. to add things up she ask for my course outline as a missing document. and i tried to request from my school and they are giving me a hard time to get it. they wont be able to give it to me and their reason is course outline is a confidential doc. and that is my problem... is course outline and course syllabus the same thing?

is someone here from school in davao ask by the aphra to provide a course outline?

Hi! I need your help badly...I submitted my application to AHPRA Queensland, and this is what I heard from them, that I am not considered to have fulfilled the requirements of a category A document, because my passport has no current Australian visa, but they stated there that I can provide a written statement to AHPRA should I not be able to meet category A...

does anyone here have the same issue? can i ask for enlightenment? what should I do? what should I be stating on my written appeal?

please help

I was also asked to give a Certificate of Registration Status...Is it the same with the Certificate of Good standing by the PRC? or is it like the Board Certificate?

So I checked into the Student Portal of La Trobe, and now it says that my application has been APPROVED. What does that mean? Do I still have to wait until they issue an Offer

Letter to me before I apply for Visa?

From what I read and understand in this thread, yes I think so. At least I can apply for another visa while onshore. :p

''No further stay on your visa,, means you must leave the country and apply for another visa if you wish to come back.

Just to clarify, its a 456 multiple entry visa with NO "No further stay" condition. Sorry for the confusion. :)
