Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

Part 1 thread New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand - Nursing for Nurses
This is not the venue for destructive criticisms. We do not read this forum just to be updated about rude comments and petty arguments which sound like it's getting more personal. Professionalism, I posit, that is the key word here. A private message would suffice rather than airing it out in a public forum such as this.

Your post is full of contradictions.
In your words, this is a 'public forum' - there will be pros and cons. If there will only be pros then this would be like an '************ meeting/convention.
If you find that my previous post was a personal attack please feel free to report the post. I share information that I feel is relevant to the situation. Irresponsible comments/posts should be questioned and dealt with.
Sending a private message would make it personal wouldn't it? I'm not interested in the person just the posts that can affect the readers of the forum - new grad Filipinos who want to work in Australia.
I use this forum to practice my English writing skills and use my experience as a Filipino nurse in Australia. My motivation is to guide the misguided and paint a picture of what's going on in Australia. I don't claim to know everything but when I do, I'll make sure to post it.
Once you get a chance to do your BP, you will then need to find an employer who will be willing to sponsor you (457 visa) that will give you a maximum of 4 years hopefully. What happens next? You then have 2 choices - apply as a skilled independent migrant (very expensive, points system) or be sponsored by your employer.
If its an 857 (regional) - you will be tied to a 2 year contract. If its an 856 (non-regional) it's a 3 year contract.
And now the warning. Read the link below from the immigration department. It's what will happen if your employer will not sponsor you or you won't meet the points for skilled immigration visa
Closing for review,Can I please remind members to be curtious to everyone
Pls don't close this thread...I truly appreciate all contributors to this thread, and the arguments are as equally important as the posts so that it gives the reader, like me, a wider perspective, more options and a reason to make own research on the matter before making a huge life-changing expensive decision to work in Australia. I am about to spend more than half a million pesos and I need this forum for more information plus it is very convenient because it has already become like a one-stop shop where you got it all..
Praying that you would reconsider.
Then stop posting misleading information. There are those who want to believe everything you say like it's the answer to their prayers and yet you admit that what you posted then was inaccurate - a nonsense post.Just like your previous post when you said you will get 65 points (80 by your own calculation) to apply for a skilled independent migration visa then to realize that you won't get enough points anyway. Then you said that you will just wait to gain more experience. It's RN1.3 and not RN3 - you should know the difference between them.
And all the hospitals you mentioned in your recent posts that has plenty of jobs for foreign nurses, I'm sure you have first hand knowledge about their massive demand. Or you were too tired again from your shift that you just posted all the hospitals you can think of.
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!:rotfl: this thread is hilarious!!!!
