Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

GOD IS VERY GOOD!!! :lttang:
I received my letter of ELIGIBILITY from AHPRA just this afternoon..:clpty:
It took me 3 months & 2 weeks before receiving a very important notice.
For me, my waiting time was lengthened due to my good standing from NM-BON (NCLEX), it lasted for 3 weeks for them (AHPRA) to receive my certificate.
With consistent prayer and optimism, everything is possible..Praise the Lord!
Thank you everyone for all the information and pieces of advice you've shared..
Now time for BP hunting...

You're so lucky, it took you 3 1/2 months to get an eligibility letter from AHPRA. Congratulations.

Others(IHNA,Mercy,ETEA)- I do not know their intake dates for next year hehe
Good luck.
Hi! I need your help badly...I submitted my application to AHPRA Queensland, and this is what I heard from them, that I am not considered to have fulfilled the requirements of a category A document, because my passport has no current Australian visa, but they stated there that I can provide a written statement to AHPRA should I not be able to meet category A...does anyone here have the same issue? can i ask for enlightenment? what should I do? what should I be stating on my written appeal?
please help
hi there.. definitely you do not hold an Aus Visa as of the moment. so write a letter that you cannot fulfill that as of the moment, and attached is your Passport as a natl identity until you have your Aus visa when you get there :)
