Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

Thank God !! I received my 456 multiple entry visa this morning and it has no "no further stay condition" on it. :).*Next is selection process for the January intake , it will be known this Mid December, so I am not assured of January slot yet .

wow!!! Congrats... I told you, for sure u will get it!!!
GOD IS VERY GOOD!!! :lttang:I received my letter of ELIGIBILITY from AHPRA just this afternoon..:clpty:
It took me 3 months & 2 weeks before receiving a very important notice.
For me, my waiting time was lengthened due to my good standing from NM-BON (NCLEX), it lasted for 3 weeks for them (AHPRA) to receive my certificate.
With consistent prayer and optimism, everything is possible..Praise the Lord!
Thank you everyone for all the information and pieces of advice you've shared..
Now time for BP hunting...
Congrats makikay and thank you for all the help you gave me before when I was preparing my application. By the way, how long did you wait from APHRA WA before they contacted you that they have received your application??? It has been a month now since I passed my documents and still I haven't heard any word from them. I'm just getting worried that it would be too late for me to find a school to enroll for early next year. Thanks in advance :)

Hi. Sorry I have to ask since I have little knowledge regarding visas. How did you obtained a visa when you haven't enrolled to a BP school yet? Isn't one of the requirements your Certificate for Enrollment?
