New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand Part 2

Published

Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.

Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

Hi Everyone! I read a lot this thread and I really find it helpful. I would like to ask about visa 456. Do you lodge your application first or have the medical check up? I seem couldn't contact Nationwide Health System here in Makati? Do you know any new numbers of them?

Anyone attending BP in January or February in ETEA?:)

Please help me. Thank you!

hi apples88. i'll be taking the january 2011 IRCON at ETEA. have your medical first then lodge your application. sometimes its difficult to contact nationwide clinic. why dont you just go there. they are also open on saturdays, 7 to 1

not even a "volunteer RN experience" in the home for the aged, or home for the orphaned babies?? even that type of volunteer experience??

if you have nothing, then you write nothing.. no need to prepare SOS because there is nothing..

i dont know how will AHPRA look at your application.. theoretically, it is okey.. for practical purposes, better earn first even just 3 mos. volunteer nursing experience..

good luck..

are you going for the january intake of etea?

Hi hai_ho09! Hopefully I can attend the BP at Etea in January. I still have to fix my visa. I can't send PM yet. Sorry. How about send me your YM ID?

Thanks!

When I informed the PRC officer (in Manila) that the NBV requires the cert to be sent by them, they just asked me to provide the address and pay the mailing fee. After giving them the receipt, I was then provided with a stub and advised to call their office after 2 weeks for confirmation.

hi! May I ask how much is the fee? And how long did it take for the recipient to receive the mail from PRC?

@Glioblastoma

Can you please give me the e-mail address of AHPRA NSW?

Thanks
