New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand Part 2

Published

Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.

Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

Part 1 thread New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand - Nursing for Nurses

hi everyone,

i just got my ielts test results online ( i took it july 30). I passed!!!! Whehew!!!! And i just got an offer from aaon for their sept intake. They still have to assess the documents i submitted. Still lack some vaccinations though. I'm trying to finish everything by tomorrow so i can email the rest of the docs immediately. I hope i still have time to finish all the necessary preparations before classes start on sept 8. One step closer to my ozzie dream.

Isingrn, i hope we can be classmates.:yeah::clown::clown::clown:

congrats!!! Hey may i how much the bp in aaon cost?and how long will it take?

U need to do bridging course even u are having work experience.

That's the way to have your license registration in ahpra to be completed.....also ask some companies that are good in assessing nurses experiences..

can you pm me about your company? please! than you =) it's [email protected]

just received an email that my papers were already escalated for final approval... indeed, if I had not committed an error in my AGOS form I surely would have received eligibility...

WA has very fast processing! its only about 6 weeks since I sent my application.

i feel so happy because a day after passing the ielts, here comes anoyher good news!

All praise to my Lord and Savior King Jesus Christ!

Can you apply to any AHPRA State/territories branch even if you're not sure where you're goin to enroll the BP?? thanks in advance =)

Absolutely. I think your questions have been very basic and have been tackled extensively in the previous posts. I suggest you read this thread from the start and all your answers will be answered. :o:yawn:

I definitely agree with that. Try to backread and majority of your questions will be answered... this thread I believe is more reliable than what any agency may say because we have here a collection of not only ideas but valuable experiences of filipino nurses trying their way into Australia... a lot of people here are willing to help without financial gain as a motive...

Is your bp school CRISCO registered then you cannot apply for student visa. Takes ages as well.

Sorry, but I'm quite confused with CRICOS registered and Non - CRICOS. Isn't it the other way around? I read from the previous thread this conversion about such thing.

I hope someone can enlighten me :)

same here.still waiting for my eligibility. i took idp academic... and by the grace of god i got the required scores. my friends have slots for ihna so thats where id probably go... i think we sent our docs at about the same time frame... your letter would probably be out before the month ends.

my papers are already for final approval after a week of getting stalled because of my error in in the agos form. im quite optimistic though that we will have eligibility letters soon... godspeed....
