Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

Hi!Does anyone know the difference between VCHN and Mercy Health Training Institute with regards to providing pre-registration course for overseas trained nurses?Which one would you recommend?
May I also know what transpires during the phone interview ( topic of conversation etc) for those who have already applied and gone thru the phone interview. thanks a lot
Hellow Macpao87!Its my first time here and would like to ask ask as to how did you pay the tuition at the college of nursing?
I might go for the sept. intake this year..
Hi invanz!
I paid my tuition using a credit card, but I think it's better if you opt to go for a bank transfer via ANZ Bank in Makati.

VCHN interview is really simple. They just want to know whether you can speak understandable english. They normally ask about your experience as a nurse.
Thanks a lot! Are there any other schools? It's nice to have a number of options to choose from. heheh..
All approved bp providers is listed on APHRA website. Try checking their website regarding intake dates and tuition, and send them an email if you have query. I would rather check them myself rather than rely it to someone else :)
Hey everyone! Is there anyone here who has been referred for BP as RN?
I have 3 years OR work experience, would you think that would suffice to be referred for RN BP?
You mean qualify to undergo Bridging program? Yes many members here had already received their eligibility to undergo B.P.
You have enough experience, I've read here recently that someone just received their eligibility with zero experience.
Good luck

Yup, to qualify for the bridging program for RN. I reckon other applicants were only given EN programs. I was just wondering what is the benchmark in terms of qualifications for RN.
