  1. Hi ceridwyn. May i ask how long before you got your eligibility letter? Thanks man.
  2. Really? The one in Ortigas? So it's 3% monthly interest? Now I know. They wouldn't tell me the interest rate when I went there. Said, they'll discuss it with me after I have the eligibility letter which is like 3-5 months from now or even longer. I guess I will look into other sources for my BP. Anyway, I already went ahead with my AHPRA registration. By myself. One step at a time towards our Australian dream.
  3. Yes, maybe we can be classmates. I don't have a particular school chosen for my BP as of now. I'm not sure about Melbourne though. But my BP would definitely have be in Victoria. Goodluck to us.
  4. Hi. I'm also set to file for registration with AHPRA soon. My plan is to enroll for BP as soon as I have the eligibility letter. Hopefully, I get it in time for the January 2012 intake.
  5. We are kinda in the same situation. Although I am familiar with the whole process of registration with AHPRA, and I think I can do the it all by myself, I'm afraid I would still have to go to an agency for their financial help. Recently, I talked to an consultancy agency located in Ortigas which has a partner loaning agency. This loaning agency is willing to lend money for the bridging program, accomodation and living expenses. I'm still undecided though. I really wanna work in Australia badly but I don't wanna rush into borrowing a huge amount of money from them and later on have a hard time paying them off. Arrgh. It's just frustrating.
  6. Thanks cioman94. Your input is much appreciated. I think I'll go for the Victoria office. By the way, how long does it usually take for APHRA to give out the eligibility? Assuming that an applicant has successfully complied with all the requirements? To those who already have eligibilities, how long did you have to wait for APHRA's letter? Thanks alot.
  7. Hi! I am lodging my application with APHRA soon. However, I need help with deciding which office to lodge my application. From their website, I know that they have an office in each state. Can anyone give any input as to which office gives a quicker response. I understand that some offices become overloaded with applications.
  8. Hi! I'm also a nurse in the Philippines and also interested to work in Victoria. I understand your rush. I am in the same situation as u are. My IELTS too expires this November 2011. But in my case, I'm just about to start with my APHRA registration. When did u logde ur application? How soon do they give the decision letter or eligibility? Thank a lot.
  9. Hi everyone! I'm set to apply for registration to APHRA. I'm a nurse here in the Philippines and I'm interested to work in Victoria. I understand that registration to APHRA is the first step right? How long does it usually take before u get their decision letter? What does it usually say to a registered nurse applicant with more than 3 years experience in the Philippines? I would really appreciate any input. I'm just starting with the whole process of trying to work abroad and need all the advise I can get. Thanks a lot.
