Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

Thanks for your wonderful advice, guys. I sent them an e-mail yesterday. I'm still waiting for their reply. Sorry for being such a noob but how do I call AHPRA? LOL! I'll have to call them long distance through landline phone, right? Never in my whole life have I tried calling long distance. This is so embarrassing.
hi everyone!
congrats to everyone who already have their eligibility letters. still waiting for my eligibility letter for 9months now. Im wondering what took them so long to process my papers. I originally passed it in Vic but I got the credit card receipt from NSW. Any advice guys? hehe..I still hope everything will turn out okay. still keeping my fingers crossed and keeping the faith and i know one of these days i'll be getting mine, too.

You can check the numbers of AHPRA for each state in the Contact Us section of their website... Yes, you do need to do it long distance... But it wont be too expensive as they usually answer after the first ring... atleast mine did...hehehe God bless our applications!!=)
