Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

It should be sent to AHPRA. xxx
I TOTALLY know that I have to send my documents to AHPRA. My question is, which AHPRA office? Because they have listed all the addresses of their offices all across Australia. And I am planning to send it to the AHPRA office IN NEW SOUTH WALES. That was what I meant.
Who administered your IELTS test? If its IDP Cebu, then you or your representative have to go to their office at 10th floor Keppel Bldg, near Ayala Center. There are two options. Pay P300 and they will send it through ordinary airmail. It takes 2 to 3 weeks. If you opt for Special Courier, you pay about P1,300++ I think. It will be sent in a weeks time.
i took IELTS from the British Council.. Do you happen to know where their office in cebu is?? tnx!

I took mine from British Council too.
Here's what it says on the website:
For international recipients candidate should submit the completed additional TRF request form and payment either in cash or manager's cheque.
To make a request, download the form here and send it with your payment to our office through WWWExpress and quote British Council account number 642210981 for free mailing fee. If you are availing of our free courier service to CGFNS and ICHP and to UK institutions, you can send your completed request form to [email protected] or fax it to +63 2 637 32 31.
Fee: 1200
We accept manager's checks payable to the British Council. Cash may be received in over the counter transactions only.
Hope this helps. xx

here:
I found all the info here

I still have to make a request so I'm not sure yet what to do either. hehe.
I guess the cheapest way to go to Oz as a nurse is to do the bridging program. If you have work experience 1 year in the past 2 years then you can do the immigrant application.
Your choice actually.
But I guess the bridging program is more recommended. xxx
Last time I checked bridging courses are only done in Australia for 8-12 weeks.
So you'll have to research more on that agency.
:):):)
cindy_b:
do you know the requirements of how to apply as an immig.?
cioman:
hey, thanx for info you sent last time i was suppose to send it to Joy, the nurse whose sister is in Australia (im sending sms to her now, tnx a lot) . i really got busy reading some ielts materials i forgot to ask the questions about the immig. thing i wanted to ask but never mind im not even sure if i can qualify.. ielts is still the number one in the priority list even if we try to apply for PR or BP. :)
Snet mine Dec 6. Got email confirmation Jan 13 I think. If your IELTS is going to expire by June, you might have a hard time with enrolling in a BP school with an expired IELTS. They also require a valid IELTS result. You still can send your application by May with your current IELTS result. But I suggest you retake your IELTS now or in May just to make sure your application with AHPRA will not hit a snag. You might waste your ahpra application fee. Just make sure to get the required minimum score again.
In my case, I submitted my application last Dec because my IELTS will expire this Sept.
joiemike:
in which state did you send your docs?
