New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand Part 2

Published

Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.

Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

I kind of hope this program will buy me time in preparing my self financially and for personal reasons too:crying2: . I can only do my studies in QLD since my sister is there. Im saving up so I can do my BP in NSW in the future. I hope you can help me with my predicament. thanks a lot! :yeah:

Hi official02! I did my bridging at UB-WLI in Adelaide, SA. The bridging was good. I had my clinical placement at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. It is a huge public hospital in the suburb of Woodville. Other hospitals where you might be having your clinical placement are Modbury Hospital, Flinders Hospital, Royal Adelaide Hospital and Gawler Health. Yes, WLI is under UB in Victoria. Any more queries, feel free to send me a PM. :D

How's life after the program?
