Hi everyone, please help me.
I graduated last march 2007 here in the Philippines and I have my license here already.
Because of oversupply of nurses here, it's too difficult to find a job.
That's why I'm looking forward to working in Australia or New Zealand.
However, I'm confused. Esp about Australia.
I already have my bachelors degree here.
When I go there in Aus to work as RN, must I take a diploma in nursing first? can I work while studying?
After obtaining my diploma there, am I already a registered nurse?
Thank you!
Thanks drednag. Yup Kilmore, it's a quite a distance from Heidelberg. A train ride plus an hour long bus ride. Our class is composed of 4 filipinos & 2 indians. Quite a small class huh?
ETEA will supply the resource materials. Whole day class.
6 students??? I was expecting a 28 student class like Ryan's. Oh well..
At least you've got supermarkets in even the most rural victoria. In rural wa supermarkets are a luxury.
Where are you living in melboune?
i dont know where to start with the application, how to register and all. i visited the website but its more of complicated, i dont really have an idea about australian immigration. will a consultancy help? i dont have experience but i have almost 10 months volunteer experience. thank you
to YFKE,
maybe you can start by reading/browsing on previous posts...say p300?...... and make notes (just a suggestion) . its a short read and quite interesting...... i believe the journey begins at the NBV website, download the pdf files.... read the post here on how the required docs were handled. good luck yfke....
i don't have a record of my "baby" immunizations...how do i provide a record that i indeed had the vaccines?
same problem as mine before.. i went to a pediatrician to repeat all my vaccines.. u can also have a titer for hepa b and chicken pox for proof that you did have been vaccinated. No titer for dpt and the Ipv vaccine is rare (i will try st lukes). i had mine repeated because its a lot cheaper and i do have the time..

Received all my vaccines from the Philippines. It's cheaper. A visit to the doctor in Australia costs around 60$.
