Hi everyone, please help me.
I graduated last march 2007 here in the Philippines and I have my license here already.
Because of oversupply of nurses here, it's too difficult to find a job.
That's why I'm looking forward to working in Australia or New Zealand.
However, I'm confused. Esp about Australia.
I already have my bachelors degree here.
When I go there in Aus to work as RN, must I take a diploma in nursing first? can I work while studying?
After obtaining my diploma there, am I already a registered nurse?
Thank you!
thanks chabeli! I went to PRC this morning and i left my verification form to be processed. i'll be going there again on tuesday to pay for the courier service. that's just about the same time that i think i'll send my documents to QNC. now i just have to find a notary public who has the stamp that states what QNC is asking for.do you guys really think that certified true copy of the original document is not enough? does it really has to say i have sighted the original document....? and i think i'll just be sending my original transcript. it has 4 pages (2 transcripts, 2nd courser). i'll just probably attach a note or something that says i have lots of originals, or that i have requested that transcript specifically for them. i really did by the way.
ok guys, thanks again for all the advice! just keep those ideas/suggestions coming hehehe
mine was returned by the NBV because the name of the lawyer, address phone number and position (notary public) wasn't handwritten....so even if it has the stamp of the lawyer's details, still please ask them to write those info... it's fine if it says certified true copy of the original documented--just the handwritten part...
well that was for my case..
anyway--- I'm waiting for my assessment from the NBV although i have already received the first response asking me to redo my passport certification on the photocopy...hpefully i get it, within the month of June as that's what NBV told me...to wait for it within 30 days ...
After reading the entire length of this thread, I became enlightened with the tons of information I read. I first considered QNC however, I am now carefully considering registering for WA and hopefully take the bridging program.
Thank you aelith for your selfless contribution in this thread. And thank you nursemavi. I am inspired with your WA move and would want to follow that same path. I hope you'll be able to guide me along the way.
Many thanks!

Hello there amber_snow! Just wanna say welcome to this thread . Well, like you I too find this thread very helpful. All the people here understand what you're going through so don't hesitate to ask questions. But yeah, you should back-read first as a lot of infos were already discussed in the previous pages. I remember about 2 weeks ago, I spent almost one whole day reading and I didn't even finish hahaha! Anyway, just post your questions and I'm pretty sure someone will answer/comment on what you've posted.
Godbless! See you around...
