Is there already a thread for RNs waiting to hear about awards from the Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program?

When I search, I can only find previous year's threads.

The good news is that there's only a maximum of 4 weeks left of torture...unless of course they really truly extended the deadline until October. In that case, I just might pull my hair out!

I think that there are more people chiming in this year on the blog......and I think the emails still are excellent news!!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck, only a few more weeks...however, it may flow in to October since that is the new deadline!!!

How do we know that October is the new deadline? When I log into the portal it still says that all awards will be made by September 30....

If you got the HRSA website it says that "Applicants who submitted complete application packages will be notified, whether or not they are selected for funding, no later than October 31." But my portal says the same thing as yours when I log in, so I hope thats right and we will know by Sept 30.

The original deadline for HRSA to notify awardees is September 30, and they notify those who are not awarded by October 31. However, a while back, someone on this thread said that they were told by an HRSA phone rep that they have moved the deadline to October for awardees due to the large number of applications they received this year. I hope it doesn't go that late, but if it does, HRSA might have to make back-payments to awardees since the new fiscal year starts October 1st.

they told me over the phone the date has been entended to October 31st, let the hair pulling begin (or resume)
