Is there already a thread for RNs waiting to hear about awards from the Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program?

When I search, I can only find previous year's threads.

Just found and joined this thread - shocking, I know. I'm an RN. Random question: Do you qualify for the repayment if your loans were in their "grace period" during the application process? Thanks everyone for the helpful information. My application has nothing exciting going on - just "submitted". No credit checks or anything.

I think thats ok. as long as they are not defaulted.. not 100% sure though..

Do you know what tier you are in and Debt to income ratio?

The hosptial I work in is a "Disproportionate share hospital" and it is not listed on the HPSA site. So maybe my hospital no longer qualifies.

Being a DSH is a good thing.. you need to look up your facility by the address..

I sure hope so! I wonder how long we will have to wait for the final email. Waiting is going to be more torture!
