Is there already a thread for RNs waiting to hear about awards from the Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program?

When I search, I can only find previous year's threads.

Thanks for the positive thoughts tgonzalez. Your right, it is going to happen, I've had a gut feeling all along that I was going to get it this year. I applied for the other loan reimbursement program that HRSA has for primary providers before, but the facility I was at became ineligible. This time I know it's going to happen!!!!!

Okay, guys, tomorrow is another day..........I am no expert but I really think if you got the finalist award notice that more than likely it is a done deal. Now in saying that, I was a "WRECK" ......it's like you really want to hope but you are to scared to........It is a blessing that HRSA has this for nurses because "we work hard", and it is just the greatest thing for them to allow us to have it. For anyone that applies this year and does not get it......do not give up....if I had given up after last year, I wouldn't have the contract today.

I don't know about inspiration??? lol....but it is so true that last year I was down but there was no doubt in my mind that I was applying again......and yay...I got it!!!!! I love nursing though....I always have, it is a hard job but just the best, now I was a little scared when I first got my APN and I guess I stay a little scared....cautious....always cautious and it is a 24/7 job that I have but I love it....I love helping people and somehow making a difference. I set a goal for myself to get my practitioner and made it and now over half of the expense is going to be paid for......it's good kharma!!!!! I want everyone to get the funding!!!!!

My contract started the day the second signature was signed........now I know that it is not official until the official email but it is interesting that my contract start date was on the second signature.....just some rays of reassurance!!!!!!

Thank you everyone for positive thoughts and prayers! Hopefully signatures and emails will roll out quickly over the next few days and weeks. (one last peek at the BCRS portal before I turn off the computer...Just in case there is a second signature and I missed it earlier)

I'm a bit worried- my loans were in forbearance but I've started back to school so they have changed to In school deferment. Hope that won't knock me out of eligibility. They have not been ever in default. Just worrying worrying

No second signature this morning. Off to clinicals with students and will be without internet all day. Praying for all to receive contract signatures and final emails today.

NP heard Tuesday, faculty heard Wednesday maybe RN's will hear today... fingers crossed! but i doubt it seems like RN's don't even have signatures yet :(

oh ok so faculty hasn't gotten official award letter yet either... i think its a go since you got an email! I just want to know already either way!
