Is there already a thread for RNs waiting to hear about awards from the Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program?

When I search, I can only find previous year's threads.

I was recently awarded repayment under NELRP. I am wondering if anyone knows if you can reapply when the service contract is complete as long as you still meet eligibility requirements?

I think you can.. Not 100% sure though.. Dont forget about the 3rd year though..

You will have to have a significant Debt to income ration to be selected again.. as they will have paid off 85% before taxes.

But hey there is always that chance.. The call center would know for sure

I think so
federal direct stafford loans sub and unsub (which all of mine are) federal direct plus and federal direct consolidation loans are eligible.FFEL programs need to consolidate before the 120 mths begins. Now I don't know what that last part stands for. I just know I have both of the first set.

How do they verify everything over the next two years does anyone know?

I believe we have to submit employment verification forms via the portal every 6 months. Not sure about the loan part.
