So seriously, should I worry that they inquired twice on my credit report? Does anybody's else's report have two inquiries or just one? It's strange, too, that it's on two separate dates.

Hello Amy and Timnsara!

Amy, congrats on the credit check! I'd do your VERY BEST not to think about the double check. It could mean they weren't sure about you (that's what you're worried about right?), it could mean they are very interested in you, or it could mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. There is no possible way to know what it means, so try not to worry.

I can tell you I definitely think the Mortgage Service Co from TX has something to do with NELRP. My inquiry from them was on the exact same day as the CBC inquiry, my loan dates changing, and right around the time of my lenders 30 day payoff inquiries. Not to mention it's WAY too much a coincidence that all of us have credit inquires from that same oddball company.

Have either of you gotten inquires through your lenders yet? I can't remember. Any theories as to why 2 of my lenders were contacted, but not US Bank/Mygreatlakes?

The poopiest part is, we may not know till Sept 30, 2011. So time to chill! Too bad we all live in different parts of the country! How fun would it be to all get together, have a drink, and analyze NELRP to death?! lol

I don't think you should worry at all. I think its a good sign. It means they are really looking into you which is better than getting passed over. It looks like Suzy has the earliest date change and credit check right! So we shall see if they go by dates you will be getting info first Suzy!

Timnsara, why do u think I'll hear something first? Amy got her date change and credit check in Feb and u in mid Apr right? My process didn't get rolling until Apr 27th. Is it because my lenders have had inquires? Honestly it seems like I may be in the 2nd wave here.

Suzy, I think you and I will be around the same time... My dates changed the day after yours! Hopefully we'll be able to keep each other sane when everyone else starts hearing news!

Suzy, that would have been sweet to go have a cocktail with our extra money! TimnSara, my credit check was dated on Feb 8th and then the 28th so I think mine was first right? I sent in my application on Jan 5th too! My husband and I were confused as to why when I initially checked my credit report mid Feb there was no inquiry. Cause its supposed to show you inquiries up to that exact day! BUt yes Suzy you're right...its time to take a deep breath! Gonna be hard tho. I've even got family praying for me!!! I am Just starting to GEt super nervous cause the blogs last year say they were getting contracts right around now!!! And they're applications weren't due until march. So honestly it could very well be any day now
