Hello! I am just finishing the last of my paperwork to send out! This is my first time applying and I'm not sure what my chances are. Cause I have read the last few threads from the previous years and some people have applied like 3 years in a row and finally got it. So I hope I get it cause i am sure a lot of us cause uses it. Good luck to you!
I know reading the thread is so daunting...I'm keeping my fingers crossed. It would help so much. Do u know of anyone personally that was awarded it by chance???

I am applying for the first time also! Wish I had heard about it sooner! :) One question.... Are unofficial school transcripts acceptable? I noticed on the checklist it stated that they are. But on the online application I saw that they wanted official transcripts? Help, please!!
No I believe unofficial ones are fine!!!
unofficial transcripts are fine. Just as a note - When I called NELRP the other day... they said to be careful with transcripts with watermarks and faxing. Sometimes it comes out unclear.
Ugh, this is very time consuming and nerve wrecking! Sending out my papers tomorrow! Sweetmeggy 22 the two peopletht ot it were they first time applicants?
1 was a 1st time applicant... the other one wasnt. It was her first time. The reason why she didnt get it the first time was b/c she incorrectly filled soemthing out i believe.

Hello all!
I applied as well. I agree some of the past blogs are making me nervous. I work at a DSH and have at least 145% debt to income ratio, but many of the 2010 applicants have >200%! It does make me feel a little better about my debt though. I thought I was unusually horrible.
If anyone has received a reward I would be very greatful to hear the facility type and debt to income ratio!
Good luck everyone! It is like winning the lottery. I'm so hunkered down by debt I can't save up for a down payment on a house even though I already pay $625/mo in rent!

I was selected last year. My debt to income ratio is 230%, I work at a DSH in southern NH.
