I am just curious as to what the max. dollar amount is that the NELRP will repay. I understand the 60% for 2 yr. committment and another 25% for third yr. but what is the max. dollar amount? I have looked at the website and I have found nothing about it except the percentage. Other places I have looked have stated up to $15,000 and up to $30,000. Are these two different programs? I also do not understand they have a TON of applicants but I am really curious about the program (private tuition is doing a number on me). Any info. would be greatly appreciated!!!

Mine is 185% for nursing loans. Unfortunately, nursing was a second degree for me so I also have other undergrad loans on top of these. Woohoo! And to think I am still considering going back to school for my PhD :) Good luck to everyone. I am hoping we hear something soon because the wait is killing me.

Thanks for your answer. I find myself wishing I had a higher ratio! I can't believe they rank the top tier as having only greater than 40% of their annual income be the amount of their loans. I think it is giving me false hope.

Havent heard anything either!! Ahhhhh!!!! I wish everything involving the government didnt have to be so involved!! (like the million page application to begin with!!).... I guess when you have a zillion people apply it just takes time but the closer it gets to the end of Sept. the more nervous I get about not getting it.

They send out award letters 1st... they send out rejection letters in october... :(.... lets keep crossing those fingers!

Hello everyone,

Did anyone else get a phone call from them or the long awaited letter? I am ready for the weekend to be over so we can get mail again lol I am so paranoid that the post office will lose my letter (if I am lucky enough to get one) since they lose everything else of mine. Well I am off to work now. Have a great weekend everyone!
