I am taking stats right now at one college to wrap up my AA Degree. I am also taking Pharm at another college where I was accepted in the nursing program. -> here's my problem.
I need my completed transcripts send over to nursing college ASAP. I have no problem dropping stats cause right now my main focus is on Pharm and nursing school which cranks up in Aug. I'll get a pell which I desperately need but it might be put in place too late to help me this fall if I don't W from stats.
Will having my AA help me in the job market with my RN or does if make no difference

BSN is better; many places around the country prefer or require it. Your nursing program should give you an associate's degree at a minimum, though, right? Regardless of whether you have an AA in something else. You can finish your associate's in nursing and enroll immediately in a BSN program, and that will make some employers happier.
If you have no degree in nursing as a new grad, you're really cutting your options to near-zero in most of the country.
Or am I misunderstanding your question?

Having an AA, AS, BA or BS in some other field unrelated to healthcare will have little to no impact on getting you hired as a nurse. Don't waste any of your time fulfilling other degrees. I don't know if withdrawing from statistics is such a good idea as you will be needing this course to fulfill the requirements for BSN. Talk to your academic counselor or adviser and make sure you're on the right track. Hope this helps.

I agree with the above comment- don't drop Stats because BSN programs require it!

Find out if the both schools use e-scripts.. if so then the transcripts will be transmitted from one to the other the same day.

I have an AA in psychology & AS in pre baccalaureate nursing. I pursued them because I had the classes & it is something to put on my résumé. But I say don't drop stats.

I did finish my AA degree, but honestly, as far as helping get a job or leg up on anyone- it's pretty worthless. I finished it because I wanted something to show for my hard work up to that point. I was proud of it (and still am). So really, the only value the degree will have to you is what you attach to it sentimentally. If it isn't that important to you, skip in if it helps you on your way to nursing. If it is a goal you've had from the beginning, finish it, you'll feel really good about finishing your goal.
I suggest you definitely finish stats, it's an important class if you want a BSN.

Seems like you more woried about the pell moving to the nursing school.
To answer your final question. NO having an AA is not for the job market. Its for progression to BSN. That is the route I took. I got my AA then applied to nursing schools both ADN abd BSN, and got into a BSN program.
I assume you got accepted to an ADN program? Sooner or later you will have to get your BSN and that is where the AA will help. you wont have to go back to complete prerequisites like Stats. Finish your AA degree, , its just 1 subject left.
If you worried about the pell just talk to financial aid at the nursing school. Stats is considered a summer program. The main thing with pell is as long as you don't take it from 2 schools at the same time. your RN stuff will count for a separate semester in Fall and your new school can also defer the pell payment. When I first started nursing school in January it took them way past the deadline(almost 2 months) to get the pell in place. I was worried but they worked it out. For books you can use an amazon card, not the credit card, the amazon Store card and just pay it back when the pell comes through. Also check with your local WIA, onestops aka work source employment center. They have a funding program to help with finance.
