I was taking the nclex in Long Island. I went to break two times in the bathroom to urinate. The lady from Pearson vue came up to me in the bathroom and accused of cheating when I was not doing anything in the bathroom. I had one piece of napkin that has nothing in it. When I tried to go to back in there and finish my test. She said no and asked me to leave. So far I was on 179 question. I do not understand I tried to plead with her. she even threaten to call the police. Are those people allow to do so. I took the test on Thursday I am still waiting my result. What should be my next step? I m scared. Please help.
How come enuf- already?
What is it you are not understanding here? Pearson Vue proctors the exam. They only report the results to the State Boards of Nursing. THEY do not issue you a license. If you violate any rules during the testing, or while at the testing center, you might find you do not get a license regardless of passing status of exam. Determination is made by the BoN...it might be in your favor, or against it.
Do you understand now?

Too simplify it even further:
Passing NCLEX =/= RN/PN
BON Approval and Issuance of License = RN/PN
Yep. I've taken and passed NCLEX twice (NCLEX-PN in '05, NCLEX-RN in '10) and finished both exams in about an hour, so I've never had the experience of being at the Pearson Vue testing center there long enough to take a potty break, let alone two breaks. How long did it take you to get 179 questions? I'm honestly curious why two breaks to use the restroom were needed in that time.
She is not being truthful with us, you dont finish th exam, YOU DONT PASS!!!!! End of discussion. Even though your intentions were probably not warranted, it does seem kind of funny you keep saying you passed. I think the computer screen went blank and you got up with paper in your hand causing them to remove you from the test center.

You might be interested in knowing that the hold placed on your exam results likely had nothing to do with reviewing any video.
You took a 75 question test in 15 minutes, a VERY short period of time to take (and subsequently pass) the NCLEX. Whenever a candidate takes an unusually short amount of time to test, there is nearly ALWAYS a "hold" placed on those results so an additional Quality Assurance review can be done. ALL exams undergo one QA review in a 24 hour period following the exam (which is why people playing the silly PVT game are foolish to do so before that reviewing period is up).
However, when an exam is flagged for any reason, such as finishing quickly, or taking too many breaks, or standing up when supposed to be sitting down...not raising a hand for something and speaking out loud...MANY things can flag an exam for a review.
Once they are satisfied that the test was valid, it was not compromised with a cheating situation, the results (pass or fail) are released to the BoN. You flipping your hands over and hoping the Eye in the Sky was noticing probably helped ease your mind, which is always good. You just finished fast :)
