Sorry to hear. I found out that I failed as well last week. I was devastated. I did Kaplan study guide, and some questions on NCLEX mastery. I heard about Uworld and that it was amazing... I ordered it last week and been working on it all week. It does seem very similar to the real test. My % are low on it compared to other sources, but I guess b/c it's harder and prepares you. I write down all rationales too. I hope it works. I am waiting for my ATT. Anyone here use Uworld?

Do not give up!!! You CAN DO THIS! If you made it through nursing school you can make it through this. As other people have said. Utilize Uworld it is amazing and looks just like NCLEX. That's pretty much all I did for my test. Have a notebook with you to write down the rationales of things you got wrong and reread those notes everyday- highlight!. Try to do at least 3 75q quizzes a day on all the topics so you get a variety of different things. The week before my test I was doing about 5 75q quizzes a day. Mark anything you need to review so you can re-do them and look them over. Before your next test try to re-do all your wrong questions.
Don't memorize. Try and understand the content. It helps because if you get a question you don't know you can work through the mechanism behind it and it'll help you narrow down to the right answer.
Review any topics you aren't sure about. Go over meds! not necessarily multiple meds but the classes and their common side effects and adverse effects.
Also check out NCSBN because they have a good content review and have a good question bank!
GOOD LUCK!!!! I hear the 3rd times the charm :) You can do this!!
Feel free to ask me any questions you might have!
I did ! It's wonderful! I kept a book with the rationales as well.
I went over about 140 questions today. I'm not giving up, never! I worked way too hard to get here :) My % are low though on Uworld and that scares me. I know I shouldn't focus on the %, but I only have 45%. Is it possible to still pass with that %? I read every rationale and write a lot down, almost every rationale. I am doing the best I can. I spend a good 4-5 hours a day studying. I haven't seen anyone with that low of a % with Uworld and pass....

I used UWorld for studying for the NCLEX-RN. I began during the last term of nursing school and devoted about 5-weeks post graduation to studying on UWorld exclusively. I graduated June 10, sat for the NCLEX-RN on July 18. I spent 80 minutes answering 75 questions when the computer shut down. The test questions were difficult however at about the same level as most of the UWorld questions. I credit UWorld with allowing me to answer the minimum number of questions and passing the NCLEX-RN

Hey I just wanted to ask if you have tried picmonics yet? I bought it and absolutely love it, it goes through everything you need to know but in a video form with characters and it gives info, or you can put it in educational or story mode, it's really awesome. They have a 4 week and 6 week study plan, I'm doing the 6 week one and it was 29.99 for 6 months. I'd give a shot, they let you do a free trial it's picmonics.com
Ok thank you so much, I will try it with the Uworld
