  1. Thanks everyone! Yes, I am redoing the questions and my % is going up but I feel like that's b/c I obviously know the question. Congrats on passing :) So exciting. I test three week from today. Yes I've been doing like sets of 15-20 and taking breaks.
  2. Thanks Jen! I have been writing out all rationales. But it's too much to memorize right now... But my % has been 50, which I don't know if it's the best. Some tests my score is above or below average, but I'm a good medium.
  3. I went over about 140 questions today. I'm not giving up, never! I worked way too hard to get here :) My % are low though on Uworld and that scares me. I know I shouldn't focus on the %, but I only have 45%. Is it possible to still pass with that %? I read every rationale and write a lot down, almost every rationale. I am doing the best I can. I spend a good 4-5 hours a day studying. I haven't seen anyone with that low of a % with Uworld and pass....
  4. Thanks island chick. Yes some of my scores are above and some below. I failed first time but I didn't use uworld. I write down every rationale too
  5. My score is 45%, but I started last week. Do you think this is a bad percentage? Will it get higher over time? I've been writing all the rationales out.
  6. Sorry to hear. I found out that I failed as well last week. I was devastated. I did Kaplan study guide, and some questions on NCLEX mastery. I heard about Uworld and that it was amazing... I ordered it last week and been working on it all week. It does seem very similar to the real test. My % are low on it compared to other sources, but I guess b/c it's harder and prepares you. I write down all rationales too. I hope it works. I am waiting for my ATT. Anyone here use Uworld?
  7. Hey everyone. I failed my first time taking the Nclex PN two weeks ago. Last week I purchased Uworld and my average overall (I added them all up this week) is a 44%. I know this is not good, but has anyone really passed with their average being that low? I understand I have 4 weeks until I can re-take and hopefully my average will go up. I have been writing rationales out, and focusing on the content, as well as what the question is asking. Trying to do everything right. I have been doing sets of 10, 15, and 30 questions to start. Then taking breaks, and I'll work up from there. is 44% terrible to start with?

  9. This week I've been working on Uworld and my average is a 45% :/. But it's still higher than the averages of everyones which is 43%. Will I get better with this over time? Did anyone else percentage go up over the weeks? I'm feeling discouraged, as this is my second time taking the Nclex, in 4 weeks!
  10. Congrats!!!!!! I definitely will post when I do. I've been using uworld and hope that helps. At first I used Kaplan study guide.
  11. Put everything aside! It's very intense, but it'll be worth it all afterwards. Believe it or not, it goes very fast! Biggest thing... don't just memorize, try to really understand what everything means, or you won't know anything. Ask questions, even if you feel they are stupid (no question is stupid). Good luck to you :)
  12. I think it's both. I did feel like I knew nothing, but I hear everyone does. I am doing decent on Uworld, so I am guessing if I didn't panic and really thought each question through without focusing on my panicking, I would have passed. :/. I didn't take my medication before the test b/c I was worried it would mess me up, but maybe I should test myself with, and without it. I only use it as needed for panic attacks... guess that would have made sense to take it.
  13. Thanks. My average on Uworld isn't bad. I either get the same or slightly above average. I just do tests with around 20 questions at a time and I write EVERYTHING down in my notebook. It'll take me an hour to do 20 questions but that's due to the constant writing. I'm so scared. That test was hard, but I know I can do it. I feel like a lot of it had to do with the fact I tried focusing on breathing. I had a severe panic attack, which I'm sure a lot have. So I need to relax during the next test.
  14. Did you feel the content helped with uworld? Or more the test strategies? I felt like I knew maybe 10% if that of the Nclex. It was terrible. I did panic... I should have stopped and walked around. I also feel I rushed it b/c I was afraid of overthinking each question, but at the same time.. I don't think I looked enough. I'm only using Uworld this time... I don't want to confuse myself w/ a million different things, ya know?
