First things first, Happy School Nurses Day to you all!!!! I hope you are recognized!!
Now Imma do a little bragging, seems appropriate on School Nurses Day...
I passed the certification exam yesterday!.
Took it in March, waited longer for this than my state boards in 1983!!!
If you are eligible, I encourage you take on this challenge. The journey is worth it.
Anyone who has become certified in recent years, how long after you received your score report did it take to get your certificate? The state education department wants a copy of the actual certificate to elevate my professional status to a permanent one and I'm curious how long I might have to wait!

I have a BS in a different field, so its not that I don't have the education/didn't put in the time. Everywhere I've worked did not differentiate in acuity level allowed to work or pay between the two nursing degrees-so its not like a BSN has more nursing experience than an ADN.

You can download one from the site. It took about 4 months to get the actual certificate.

Yeah, I've been checking and it isn't available for download... It still says "Awaiting test results", even though I did receive an email with my score report stating I passed the exam. I shall try to be patient....

I'm guessing @JenTheSchoolRN also purchased study materials. Though it was still $360 when I signed up for the Summer testing window...
