NCLEX tomorrow morning...

Published

Hey everyone! Okay so Im taking the NCLEX in the morning at 0800 and I am officially sick at the thought of it! Im nauseated and cant eat anything and everytime I miss a question when studying I freak out! I have done the Kaplan and a Mosbys book, both with questions. I have also done the 3500 NCLEX questions and even downloaded an app for my itouch that I use everytime Im away from my books. My scores for all of the questions are around 62-68%. I know that I can do this but I have horrible test anxiety and am super exhausted and scared! While I was looking through my LaCharity book today, I hit a lot of questions that I got wrong on delegation to an LPN. Im working as a GN in an ICU right now, so I think that Im thinking of what our LPN's can do and applying it to the quizzes, but their wrong. Can anyone help me out and gimme a little bit of what NCLEX LPN's can do? Plz?! And plz pray for me, as I will for anyone else taking the boards soon! Thanks! :uhoh3:

I vote to do it!! Helps with sanity!! I only had 5 SATA's which made me incredibly nervous.. you know, not 'hard enough' difficulty or something!!

Anyways, I walked out of there at 8:50 and was trying the PVT by 9:30 and it kept saying I had an 'open registration.' Finally, at 9:50, I got the 'good pop-up.' I rechecked it 2-3x and hope to god it's right!!!

Hang in there!! I tried to take a nap!! Head is still pounding!

Yeah!! Awesome self control that you waited so long!! Sounds like my board will have my license number by Monday.. I guess the same time that Pearson Vue will post my 'unofficial' results.

I don't know how people used to wait days for their results!!

erin, 20 years ago nurses had to wait 6 months for their results ...the only up side to that, was that at least they were working graduate nurses .

can u imagine, geez :uhoh3:

anyway tiki, congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck. What lpns can do varies from state to state. Where I live, no I.v. Push Meds
